Working alongside the local farmers, their causes are our causes. In order to make a difference in the community, DEKALB, Asgrow and Deltapine partnered with the America’s Farmers program, sponsored by the Bayer Fund.
From food banks to fire stations, we’re helping fund the future of rural communities with $2,500 grants that make a positive impact on rural nonprofits. Each year eligible farmers can enroll for a chance to help a rural nonprofit organization with an America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation, sponsored by Bayer Fund. Since 2010, we’ve awarded more than $35 million to thousands of organizations.
We are reimagining Bayer Fund programming in 2021, building on our decade of experience and drawing on our mission to strengthen the farming communities where our customers and employees live and work.
In light of the impending programming changes, we will not be opening the Grow Rural Education program in January 2021.
Every year, Grow Ag Leaders awards more than $500,000 in scholarships to students studying in ag-related fields. In 2021, more than 350 scholarships totaling more than $500,000 will be awarded across the U.S.
Agriculture creates nearly 54,000 jobs each year, and almost half of these go unfilled. Grow Ag Leaders asks farmers to endorse high school seniors or college students for a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship to support their higher education studies in ag-related fields.
